Cancellation Policy

1. Payment & Confirmation Full Payment Upfront: To officially secure Ray for your event date, payment must be made in full at the time of booking. Once payment is processed, your date is locked, and Ray will decline all other inquiries for that time slot. 2. Cancellation & Rescheduling We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your engagement, refunds are issued based on the following timeline: 21+ Days (3+ Weeks): 100% Refund of the booking fee 14–20 Days: 75% Refund 0–13 Days: 50% Refund Rescheduling: If you need to change your date, Ray allows one (1) reschedule at no extra cost if requested at least 7 days in advance. If the new date is unavailable, the aforementioned cancellation policy applies. 3. Technical Requirements Sound System: Client must provide a professional-grade PA system with a dedicated vocal microphone (XLR connection) unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Audio Playback: If Ray is using his custom instrumentals, the venue must have a way to connect his device (usually a 1/8" jack or Lightning/USB-C adapter). Hosting Specifics: For hosting duties, Ray requires a wireless handheld microphone to allow for mobility throughout the room as well as a stool/high back bar seat. 4. Logistics & Hospitality The "Green Room": For performances over 1 hour, a private, secure area (not a bathroom) is requested for outfit changes and vocal warm-ups. Water & Hydration: At least 3 bottles of room-temperature water (sparkling preferred) should be available for Ray during the performance duration. Overtime: Should the event exceed the contracted end time, overtime will be billed at a rate of $112.50 per hour, calculated in 30-minute increments ($56.25). Any duration up to 30 minutes over the scheduled time will be billed as one full increment. (A 10-minute grace period is provided. Beyond 10 minutes, the first 30-minute overtime increment will apply.) 5. The "Force Majeure" Clause (Acts of God) Neither party is liable for failure to perform if the event is canceled due to extreme weather, government mandates, or "Acts of God." In these cases, the fee paid may be applied to a future date.
